(You probably already know that we struggle taking pictures, so between the self timer, the uncooperative dress, and my inability to crop out the background, this is as good as it gets folks. At least there is a handsome man in the picture!)
This weekend can be summed up in two words: FOOD and FUN, and quite possibly in that order! Friday night I baby-sat for Sean and Leslee's little girl Summer. We had fun, and again she fell asleep in my arms. There is nothing that compares to holding a sleeping little one. Then on Saturday I drove up to Ogden to spend the weekend with Taylor.
When I arrived there were a dozen beautiful yellow roses waiting for me. They were absolutely beautiful! We were so excited about our Valentines gifts for each other that we exchanged them right when I got there. I got Taylor two tickets to the Jazz vs. Kings game. We have talked about going to a Jazz game for a while I am excited to go together, though we may be cheering for different teams.
That night we got all guzzied up and went to dinner. We went at five thinking that we may beat the rush, but no, it was still a two hour wait. We went to one of our favorite places, the pet store. Random I know, but we like looking at the fish and reptiles, but I couldn't convince him to look at the mice and rats. We then drove around Ogden and looked at houses, another favorite thing to do. By that time we were starving and headed back to Ruby River. After tying ourselves over with peanuts, we finally sat down and enjoyed our delicious steaks. One of Tay's friends was our server and she hooked us up!
After that we just watched a movie and hung out. Sunday was filled with an amazing breakfast, (even though I smelled like bacon the rest of the day), church, dinner at Brianne and Court's with Taylor's family, and watching a movie on Kara's projector. They are all so nice to accommodate us!
I didn't have school Monday (Thank heavens for President's Day!). Taylor had practice so after that we made lunch, went on a drive up to SnowBasin, watched Rob and Big, made Elk steak and cheesy potatos, and then hit up the Nickelcade. It was such a fun weekend. Waking up this morning was hard...really hard.
