Valentines day is fast approaching and this year I'm actually excited about it. Not that I haven't been in past years. My mom was always very good about making each holiday special. I remember vividly waking up many mornings to a balloon, flowers, a new shirt, treats, etc. Since I have lived out of the house she always sends me holiday packages, which I'm always eager to get. Thanks mom! 

So tomorrow is officially the "Day-O-Love" but today I get to celebrate it with 17 second graders. They are so cute about Valentines day. Many have come up to me and said, "I have surprise for you for Valentines day and its..." and the proceed to tell me what it is. I'm just glad that today is Friday. Hopefully the sugar high will wear off by Tuesday (We have Monday off!).
