I DO love my job!
I am so thankful for my student teacher. The kids love her, she is on top of things, and we get along great. That said, I kinda miss my kids. Today is her first full day of teaching and already I am feeling bored. Not that I don't appreciate the time to get things done, plan for the rest of the year, and run errands here at school, I just miss the one-on-one connection with the kids. I do love sitting back and listening to their comments. I love watching them and their little mannerisms. I miss constantly hearing "Miss Peterson." In all honesty, I am just trying to prepare myself for 3 more weeks of this. I don't know if I'll know how to teach when she leaves! :)

I mean if you want to come teach my class, you are welcome ANYTIME:) hahah just kidding. I bet you never thought you would have all this extra time at school!
you lucky duck - I loved my student teacher too - but I completely understand what you mean - mine was a dual though so she didn't teach the whole time for that long. It really will go by fast - and then you will be thinking..uh, could you come back that was kind of nice :) ha ha actually I felt the same way as you - crazy how much I love this job...don't even want someone else to do it for me - hmmmm can't say that about much other than my mommy job excluding laundry and dishes of course :) you are such an awesome teacher linds!
