On Friday I met Megs and Beni for dinner at the always delicious Pizza Factory for dinner. We decided to dress up because after dinner we headed up to Brad's cabin in Kamas. I pulled out my dress up box (yes, I am 23 and I have a dress up box!) and searched through my costumes from the past 6 or so years. I decided to re-use my flapper costume from a Murder Mystery Dinner we did way back when.
When we got to Brad's cabin we had treats, played games, had a Mario Cart tournament. Needless to say I didn't make it very far in the brackets! (Although I did beat Robbie the first game we ever played on the Wii...and I won't let him live it down!) Brad's cabin is huge and gets very dark, so it is always customary to play ghost in the graveyard. There was about 20 of us, so that made it very interesting. Lets just say I got a stool leg in the throat! We stayed up until about 3, and then I was exhausted and hit the sack.
We woke up the next morning and made pumpkin pancakes, waffles, fruit, bacon, eggs, etc. for a full spread breakfast! I can't remember the last time I took more than 5 minutes for breakfast, so it was great!
Overall, it was a great Halloween and I am excited that the official holiday season has begun!
