Halloween at School

The finished product! Complete with a KFC bucket and ants!
So, every year I prepare myself for Halloween. This whole week it has been interesting with the kiddos. Monday was pretty normal, but then every day the noise level seemed to rise at recess and lunch. I like to think kids are weather barometers and holiday meters. Just be around kids for a while and you can always tell when a) the weather is changing and b) there is a holiday.

These are all the 2nd Grade Teachers. We were quite the mix. A BYU fanatic, a picnic table, princess Leah (sp?), a stoplight, and a hula dancer!
I must admit my picnic table was a hit, even though it was hard to manurer and I'm sure I unknowingly took out a few kids during the parade. It was a static disaster, and by the end of the day my hair looked like I stuck my finger in a socket! This version went over way better than when I was in 5th or 6th grade when everything fell off before the 3rd house. Now the only trick is where I am going to store this monstrosity.

They made me sit in the front cause I took up too much room!
Tonight it's a party and overnight at B-Rad's (Brad's) cabin! I'm digging up my old flapper costume from like 4 or 5 years ago!
