I love Halloween. I love everything about it: costumes, decorations, haunted houses, corn mazes, pumpkin carving, pumpkin cookies, etc. Hence, I decided to make the cutest pumpkin cupcakes ever. I bought this adorable cupcake book at my school's book fair thinking that they wouldn't be that hard to make (I must have been thinking highly of my culinary skills that day!).
I started Friday by baking 48 cupcakes. It took a lot longer than I thought so I watched Made of Honor (oh..McDreamy!) while each batch took 20 minutes to bake. Then on Saturday, after getting the needed supplies, I started frosting and decorating. Don't worry, it only took me like 2 hours! Ugh! I must say although they didn't turn out as perfect as the ones in the book, I am pretty happy with how they did turn out! I'm excited to tackle the "Corn on the Cob" cupcakes, and the "Garden patch cupcakes", and the "bucket of popcorn" cupcakes. Now, who wants some cupcakes? (I have TONS left over!)
