Fall Break

Blake and Dylan (the "babies") trying on mine and Rob's shoes
Hallelujah! This week I only had to work for 3 days, and then it was FALL BREAK! Now, technically this break is for teachers to attend the Utah Educational Association conference, but lets be honest, I don't know ONE TEACHER that does! I did my first year, and found it to be simply just a bunch of text book companies trying to sell me on the latest edition.

This year I decided it would be a good chance to head up to Idaho for a few days. I was excited because I hadn't been home since Kelsey's wedding. I woke up VERY early on Thursday morning to make it home in time to eat lunch with Bryce at school. Yes, even on my day off, I can't get away from school. I brought him McDonalds, played on the playground with him, and then hung out in Tracy's (my aunt) classroom for awhile. My brother came, (he volunteers there on Thursdays) and it was good to see him. After I was done at school I headed home just in time for my massage. My mom scheduled a massage with this lady in my ward and it was just what I needed after a long drive!

Friday I picked up Blake and Dylan from Daycare and we went to get frozen yogurt and to Robbie's hockey game. I was ELATED because I found a frozen yogurt place in Boise that actually has the kind of yogurt I like. The "babies" liked it too, and told me next time they would get Fruit Loops on theirs.

The rest of the weekend was spent shopping, hanging out, going to hockey and soccer games, and seeing good friends. I got to see Heather and Josh for a little bit which is always fun. Josh did a great job in his championship soccer game! Congrats Josh! We even went to Red Robin for dinner!

I was sad my dad was on a week long hunting excursion while I was home, but so very proud of him for getting an elk! I will see him in two weeks for the BYU game! Now it's back to the daily grind. The next getaway: Sun Valley for Thanksgiving (pray for snow!)
