Daddy's Girl

On this day where we celebrate fathers I wanted to just take a second and thank my dad. He has been the most amazing father I could have ever asked for. When I was little I had a pink nightgown that said, "Daddy's girl", and if I could find one in my size now I would wear it.
I have numerous memories of daddy daughter dates, skiing, golfing, doing projects together, polishing rocks, target shooting, camping, etc. My dad has taught me more than he will ever know. One of my favorite things my dad has taught me is that it's ok not be perfect. He has taught me about rising above and how to overcome. He has always been a very selfless parent, and has made many sacrifices in my behalf. I love him to death and can't wait to see him this weekend! I love you dad!

Thank you LIN. It is very easy to parent with #1 as good as you always have been. You always wanted to assert your self and do things just a little bit "your" way and that has taken you far. I am very proud of you and the fine young lady that you have become. Thank you for being you and for loving me despite my weaknesses. I am glad you are mine and will always be. See ya soon, DAD
