Softball Summer

Well I am on my ward intramural softball team again this summer. Tonight was our first game and we got off to an eager start. We swung at a few balls we probably should have passed on, but in the end we pulled it together and did pretty well! The craziest part is that I PITCHED THE WHOLE GAME! When ever I do anything clumsy my mom says, "Just tell them you are a catcher." When I was little and I played softball I was the catcher, not the pitcher, so it was interesting being on the other side of home plate. Hopefully I can get better at it (I mean come on it's girls slow-pitch), and make my dad (who almost disowned me for choosing dance over sports in 7th grade) proud!

I was the pitcher on our HS slow pitch team. I miss softball so much! Have fun!

Dad was just happy to see you girls try different sports and things so that later on (meaning now) you would be OK with trying out the pitchers mound, etc. And maybe even playing golf with the old man once in a while. Love ya, Dad
