Ok, so I don't have a pic to go along with this, but I know some of you enjoy my school stories so here is one for today. I was teaching a small reading group and we were talking about the words allergy and phobia. I first said, "This word allergy, does anyone have a guess at what it means?" They are so smart of course they got it. They went around the table and told if they were allergic to anything. Then we got to Aisea (I-say-uh) and he said, "I'm allergic to blockbuster. Every time I go in there I have to go to the bathroom." We all busted up. You have to know this kid. He is the cutest little tongan boy with this beautiful curly fro. We then proceeded to talk about phobias and I told them I was afraid of spiders. They wanted to share their fears, and again Aisea said, "I have a serious fear of Blockbuster." Oh my heavens. They always make me laugh!

Ha ha ha... I think I am allergic to test taking. That would be a better response. How cute!! Thanks for sharing that story. It made me laugh out loud!

That is so funny, especially because Aisea said it!! Oh dear I feel bad for Ashley... Another non speaker this will be fun. Little summer is getting so big (okay well not really) you will have to see her again. I will probably come in on Monday afterschool to get some stuff ready for parent teacher conferences. SO did they have to send the kids home early on Monday? I was so confused becaues Ashley called me at like 2:15 asking for phone numbers but school got out 15 min later so...
