I have always known that I'm am slightly clumsy, but this weekend reiterated that to me in a big way!
Let's begin with Thursday night. I had just gotten home from a date. It was 12:30am and I was exhausted. I have what my dad lovingly refers to as "thimble bladder". I had also had drank so much water at dinner that the drive home from Salt Lake was a long one. The minute I got home I headed straight to the bathroom. I put my purse on the counter (don't ask me why). Mid flush my purse fell over and out slipped my phone. Before I could realize what had happened it had completely flushed. I think I stared at the toilet bowl, mouth hanging wide open, for like 3 minutes. My first thought was, "I need to call a plumber" but then quickly realized that was impossible! I went to bed knowing there was not much else I could do. I got a new phone the next day, and thank heavens the toilet has not clogged!

Saturday Jenni and I thought it was time to bust out my sewing machine I got for Christmas. I had gotten fabric to make throw pillows way back in September, and never got around to it. We got out the machine, and after a rough start we got it going. I sewed two sides of my pillow when we started to have problems. I noticed that there was a brown spot on the fabric. "Look Jenni, the fabric is bleeding." After further inspection it was I that was bleeding, and there was blood all over the sewing machine. We also realized the needle was bent. We both had to be places by 5:30, and only had a half hour to track down another needle. We hopped in the car, tried a couple of places, but found none. We were quite frustrated. Don't worry, we found some in a secret compartment of my machine, and the sewing projects were completed today. It's the beginning of a great new hobby!
