This year I was very excited because my family was going to Sun Valley for Thanksgiving to go skiing. We went a few years ago, and it was so much fun, and one of the best catered dinners ever! We ditched that plan when we learned that there was no snow and the ski resort wasn't going to open, and decided to head home! I was kind of excited to go home though too!
Kels and Grant and I drove home on Wednesday and spent the weekend playing, playing, and playing! I let Kels and Grant take all the pictures, so until I get them from them, I will have to steal their montage and put it up here. Here's a recap of some of the favorite memories:
- Playing with the babies and dancing around in our pajamas.
- Running errands with Dad looking for good ski stuff deals
- Eating a Souper Salad and Mongolian Barbeque
- Me leaving the neck in the turkey. "Dad this is the smallest stuffing opening I have ever seen!"
- Playing a rousing game of Apples to Apples. A crawl space? Seriously mom!
- Getting 7-11 Hot Chocolate. And converting others to the best hot chocolate ever!
- Doubling with Kels and Grant to the Botanical Garden's "Garden Aglow". Over 250,00 lights, a cute boy, and a night out. It was fabulous!
- Watching lots of movies! Pippi Longstocking, School of Rock, Leatherheads
- Buying the old Mario Brothers 3 and playing it (and not getting past the 2nd World!)
- Eating a delicious Thanksgiving meal, complete with rolls made by Mama and Grant.
