Where do you get a tons of kids, $1 hot dogs, and smelly feet? That's right a skating rink! Tonight was our school skate night, and I figured since I had "reasons" not to go in the past I had actually better make an appearance. Jenni and I got there just planning on eating, watching and leaving but I got the skating bug and rented skates (in all their disgustingness!) It was fun skating around with my students and I love to see them outside of the classroom environment. I'm sure they will write about it tomorrow during writing! Oh, mom I even skated to September by Earth Wind and Fire (If I only had a dollar for every time my mom said, "I roller skated to this.") Overall it was a fun night and it only cost me a dollar. Now I have to go wash my feet!
