We came home and immediately left for dinner. Somehow I always get tricked into going out to Sushi and before I knew it we were at Sakura, and I was not a happy camper. They sat us in one of the little rooms that you have to take your shoes off to enter and practically crawl in to sit down. Dad sat down as gracefully as he could which meant he literally fell and slid his legs under the table.
After everyone's food came I decided that I would try Sushi once and for all. If I gagged (like the previous times) I would call it a good effort. The sushi was HUGE so I cut one in half (I know that's not proper techinique). It was decent, and I didn't gag, so I ate the other half. Then my dad made me try to eat a whole one. Lets just say he practically shoved the thing in my mouth. You see I have this thing with textures. Too many textures at a time, wierd textures, things touching too far back in my throat....all make me gag. I panicked a little, but with my dad's coaching, "swallow some, put some in the side of your cheek..." I managed to get it all down. I then tackled a smaller piece and did alright. Who would of thought I might actually tolerate sushi?
After that where did we go? Where else...the ice rink. Robbie's summer leauge team won 10-5. Good job Bubby. So today the adventure continues. Robbie, Kelsey and Tristan and I are going to the Shakespeare Festival. That should be entertaining!
