Spirit of Alpine
Ok. This is awkward, but some of you have been asking so here are the details. A few days ago My principal called and said, "The superintendent is here and he is going to be visiting your classroom. He just wants to see what's going on at Geneva." I didn't think anything was out of the ordinary because I frequently have visitors to my classroom. They came in after recess and it ended up being Superintendent Henshaw and 3 School Board members. They watched me teach for like 10 minutes, and then my Principal said some nice things, and then they presented me with the award. I was completely shocked. They award one teacher in each school, and there are so many wonderful teachers at my school, I totally feel totally undeserving. Anyways, this is awkward talking about this...but there is the story Grandma!

the other day, shelley and i were talking and you receiving that award pretty much sums up what we were saying about you!!!!!
institute is at 7:30 -9 on tuesday's. we've moved rooms - to the JKB, but will probably have to move again because the room wasn't big enough...we had people sitting in the aisle and in the front on the floor!! crazy!!
i LOVE you!! i MISS you!! you need to come up and have lunch with me and let me give you a tour of my life!!
Congrats Linds!!! What an honor to be the only teacher of your school to receive the award!!! You deserve it...you're an awesome teacher!!!
