Wow, this has been an amazing break so far! I have LOVED being home and there is different feeling from last year. Last year at this time my family was in Long Beach, California watching endless hockey games. It has been nice to just be at home this year. Unfortunately I had a little bout with the flu, and I actually threw up, the first time in like 8 years, and that brings my complete lifetime total to like 5.
On Saturday, all the cousins came over for the tradtional Peterson Pretzel fest. It was so fun because the babies were so into it. We knew it was bound to get messey so we fashioned some high fashion aprons.
We also let the babies (Blake and Dylan)have their own bottle of sprinkles, and that was an interesting adventure. Dylan seemingly dumped his whole bottle onto one pretzel.

That night we went to the Steelheads hockey game and took all the little boys with us. They were so cute. Bryce hated the fighting and wanted to go home after the fourth fight. Dylan was scared of the mascot and sat on my lap the whole game asking, "Where'd he go?". That night I got sick (Not my favorite) and missed one of our tradtional Christmas dinners. My mom bannned me to the basement so that I wouldn't get the company sick, and I layed on the couch and just smelled the rolls all day.

This Christmas also marks the 15th anniversary for the Bateman-Peterson' Christmas Eve dinner and party. Poor Robbie, the only boy amongst a sea of women! But I don't think he minds as much as he used to. Luckily I was feeling a little better for this one. I would DIE if I had to pass up soup in Breadbowls and Twas the Night Before Christmas! The grandparents were here again. Sadly, there was no Nativity this year, but we had fun remember all the hours we used to put in practicing. I can't beleive it has been 15 years. It's so cliche, but I am gettting so old!
Robbie asked for footed pajamas for Christmas and little did we know, WE ALL GOT THEM! I was a little hesitant at first, but they are the most comfortable ever, and very warm.

My family got Rock Band for Christmas, and lets just say that is pretty much all we have been doing. I am PATHETIC at it, but am getting better. My mom freqently asks, "Don't You want to play Rock Band with me?" and sad to say, she is better than me. Speaking of gifts, my family loved the gifts I got them. This year was fun because it was the first year I have actually bought presents for everyone that I was really excited about. Plus, it helps that this year I spent all of my own money. It made Christmas much more enjoyable.

Haha those footie pajamas are so funny. Those pretzels look yummy. Well without a pound of sprinkles on them they would.

Those are seriously hilarious pajamas! Funny thing is, Tyson saw those in the Skymall magazine on our last flight and totally wanted to order them! I should show him how cool they really are...
Amazing that Footed Pajamas for adults are becoming so popular. Several companies are selling them as you can see from here:
