Halloween...Love it and Hate It!

So tomorrow is Halloween. I really do love Halloween, especially because I teach school. The kids are so excited to dress up and have our Halloween parade. I am excited it's an early out day, and that most of my day will consist of partying. I hate the fact that I have to find a costume to wear out tomorrow night though. It's very stressful. I think I am just going to recycle my Indian costume from last year!
My family came down from Boise for the weekend, and we went to see Kelsey in the Oddessy Dance Company's production of Thriller. It was so funny and amazing. I didn't expect it to be so funny. The dancing was great, and it really made me miss dancing!

Funny School Story of The Day: I had a little girl slap another little girl yesterday, so she had to miss all of her recesses today. After she sat in our classroom for a 25 minutes at lunch with her head down, we had a little chat about how to handle problems and as she was leaving class, she turned in the doorway and said, "Thanks for punishing me....I needed it." WHAT???? Haha...sad thing is that she had NO REMORSE for what she did before I made her miss recess. Oh, the plight of a 7 year old!

I have one guess. UGH! Sorry--some things can't be fixed in first grade...personality being one of them:)

Lindsay! I can't believe that she slapped someone! I hope I don't have to deal with that because I don't think I would know how to handle it at this point... keep posting stories so I know what to do in different situations! I have one for you though... this cute little girl told me seven million stories about her grandma and her hair and how she has lost 7 teeth and how she is such a great reader.. seriously, I don't think she stopped to take a breath in 12 minutes. I love these kids!
